1. Eligibility
The referral program is open to current Beardman Technology Group clients, vendors, and partners. Beardman Technology Group employees and members of their immediate families are not eligible to receive referral rewards. Referrers are responsible for ensuring that acceptance of a reward complies with their own professional, regulatory, or employer obligations.
2. What Counts as a Qualifying Referral
A referral qualifies when the referred business (a) has not been a Beardman Technology Group client or active sales lead within the previous 12 months, and (b) is submitted through the referral program before we are introduced to that business by any other means. Self-referrals do not qualify.
3. Rewards
$500 cash reward. Earned when the referred business signs a Managed IT Services agreement covering 10 or more employees or users and remains an active client in good standing for 60 days after service begins.
5% project commission. Earned on the total value of any completed project resulting from the referral, calculated after final invoicing and payment received in full.
There is no limit on the number of referrals you can submit or rewards you can earn. Each qualifying referral is rewarded separately.
4. When Rewards Are Paid
For new Managed IT Service referrals, the $500 reward is paid once the referred client has been active and in good standing for 60 days. Project commissions are paid once the project is complete and the final invoice is paid in full. Once the applicable milestone is reached, we will notify you to complete a payout form, and once completed it can take up to 30 days for your referral payment to be processed.
5. Duplicate Referrals
If more than one person refers the same business, the reward goes to the earliest submission, determined by submission timestamp.
6. Referral Window
Each referral remains active for 6 months from the date of submission. If the referred business has not signed an agreement or completed a project within that window, the referral expires and is no longer eligible for a reward.
7. Taxes
Referral rewards may be taxable income. As required by law, Beardman Technology Group will issue a Form 1099 to any individual whose cumulative rewards exceed $600 in a calendar year.
8. Endorsement Disclosure
If you promote Beardman Technology Group publicly (for example, on social media or in online reviews), you must clearly disclose that you may receive compensation for referrals, in accordance with FTC endorsement guidelines.
9. How We Use Referral Information
Information you submit about a referred business is used only to contact them about Beardman Technology Group services. It is never sold or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
10. Fraud and Abuse
Beardman Technology Group reserves the right to deny or reclaim rewards in cases of self-referral, fraud, misrepresentation, or abuse of the program.
11. Program Changes
Beardman Technology Group may modify or discontinue this program at any time. Reward terms in effect at the time a referral is submitted will be honored for that referral.
12. General
This program is void where prohibited by law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles.
